Photos from last Friday!

Hugs to everyone who came out and danced with us, a big special thanks to Hatcham Social, Downdime, The Racket for putting on such wonderful performances, and props to Jen who played some ACE tunes after.

If anyone has some photographic evidence capturing the evening, add them to our Flickr group!

Baby Honey tonight! Hatcham Social! Downdime! The Racket!

Cripes! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? It's already time for BABY HONEY #006, and June sees us welcome one of our favourite current bands; the mighty HATCHAM SOCIAL, Leeds indiepop grungers DOWNDIME, as well as newly-minted thrash-pop funsters THE RACKET.

As ever we will play the very best in indiepop, post-punk, northern soul, and girl-groups for a clued-up and appreciative dancefloor 'til the wee small hours.

BANDS:
HATCHAM SOCIAL
"Hatcham Social have that life-and-death passion of a life lived in three minutes flat" - BBC Music
"hook-heavy Brit-fop...shot through with a delicious 80's indie jangle" -  NME
The last time that Hatcham Social headlined a venue as compact and bijou as the Buffalo was a very long time ago. One of the most exciting bands to have sprung up in the last couple of years, Hatcham Social play big-hearted tunes with a dash of C-86 influenced jangle. Fresh from touring the hell out of their Top 40 debut LP 'You Dig The Tunnel And I'll Hide The Soil' the band are sure to turn the Buffalo Bar into a strange and magical place for the evening.

           THE RACKET:

The Racket are a brand spanking new band from London combining members of The Duloks, Official Secrets Act, The Sexual Hot Bitches and Dance Magic Dance to make the kind of music the Ramones would have made, if they were mainly female – and wrote songs about boys
